Where you sleep

We offer luxury, air-conditioned chalets with top of the range bedding and linen, mosquito nets, parking and 24 hour security. The beautiful scenery will invite you to take long relaxing strolls or enjoy sundowners appreciating the magical setting. All Chalets are spacious.

We also have private camping sites, with shared ablution facilities. The ideal stopover for families, hunters, fishermen and business travellers alike. Reasonable prices and dedicated, friendly staff are our greatest assets on our conveniently located and child-friendly property.

Luxury Chalets

We have 4 Luxury Chalets. Book a chalet and get free access to the swimming pool, with dinner and breakfast at the Daw Restaurant included. They are furnished with king or queen size beds, with mosquito nets, air-conditioner, towels and en-suite bathrooms. A sleeper bed can be made up for a child under 6. Bring your own swim towels and sunscreen.

We have 11 Deluxe Bungalows. Book a bungalow and get free access to the swimming pool, with dinner and breakfast at the Daw Restaurant included. They are furnished with two three quarter size beds, with mosquito nets, air-conditioner, towels and en-suite bathrooms. Bring your own swim towels and sunscreen.

For the adventurous who love a night out under the stars: enjoy the Namibian landscape, beautiful star gazing and nature with 187 bird species and 5 fish species. All campsites have shared ablution facilities. Each campsite has its own boat parking bay, braai area and small thatch roof. Day visitors are welcome from 07h00 to 18h30; overnight campers check out by 11h00 the next day. There are 20 campsites in total.

Our sewage recycling plant is delicate. Please do not flush wet wipes, sanitary pads, condoms or nappies.

Getting here

On the Von Bach Dam near Okahandja, 65 km north of Windhoek.

From the B1, take the Ovitoto road (D2102, then D2161): about 4 km on tar. GPS 22°00'50" S, 16°57'12" E.
